Mr. Brummer's science class is outside enjoying the cooler weather!!!

Here is that Math Block beach ball in action with Mrs. French’s fourth graders! Math Games - Math Facts - Math Fun

Mrs. French's fourth grade class works on adding and subtracting integers with a beach ball during Clay City School's new math block! Math is combined with fun and games to keep learning exciting!

Mr. Brummer’s science class worked on a STEM project to design and build solar ovens this week. They used pizza boxes, foil, plastic wrap, and other materials to create solar ovens that could reach temps of 160 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit! Today they put them to use and made some s’mores using the power of the sun.







Students may wear a hat on Friday, August 22 for $1.00. All proceeds will be donated to our former school nurse, Alechia Roosevelt, as she battles cancer.

If you’re interested in playing junior high basketball, please reach out to Coach C as soon as possible!

School Board Meeting this week 8/21

Due to tonight's cancelled JH baseball game, there will be practice from 6 - 7:30pm.

CCJH's baseball game vs. Martinsville scheduled for Monday, August 18 has been cancelled due to heat.

2024-2025 Clay City Elementary School yearbooks have arrived! Most students had them sent home with them today but if you would like to purchase one, they are available.

The 2024-2025 Claytonian has arrived! Junior high and high school students who have purchased, or would like to purchase, should see Mrs. Goodrum in the library. If you haven’t purchased yet, books will be available for purchase for $40.

The Class of 2026 started their senior year off with a sunrise breakfast in the parking lot this morning! What a great way to start their last year as Clay City students!


Back-To-School Night was a success! We can’t wait to see all the smiling faces tomorrow as we start the 2025-2026 school year!

TONIGHT IS BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT! And the staff at Clay City CUSD #10 is ready to see all the students!
