The library at Clay City Schools has had a spooky season makeover! The elementary students decorated ghosts to look like their favorite book characters. If you are in the building, check them out and see if you can guess what book characters decorate the windows and walls!
We will be organizing a group to work on the high school yearbook. Students can sign up this week in the high school office and mark how they would be able to help on the yearbook. We would like to have one or two from each grade. We will be dividing tasks next week to start our yearbook process.
Tasks: taking pictures, writing captions for pictures, helping set up pages, and organizing pictures.

Mrs. Kuenstler's 5th grade class is learning how to fold the flag, along with what each fold means.
Attention K-2 Students: Birthday in a Bag is coming up! Students may bring a snack and a drink (no soda) this Friday - October 18. It is to celebrate all birthdays in each month! Please contact your classroom teacher if you have any questions.

Monday, October 7th kicks off our book fair at Clay City Schools! The book fair will be open to students during the school day and during the parent-teacher conferences this week. Check out the photos to browse what will be available. Mrs. Goodrum can't wait to help students shop for books!
Next week, Clay City Elementary will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair! The book fair will be open during the school day October 7-10. Additionally, the book fair will be open for business during Parent-Teacher Conferences on the evenings of October 7 and 10 from 4:30-7:30pm. Mrs. Klein's second grade class has been gearing up for SpOoKy SeAsOn during writing class! The sweet seconds were able to create their very own monster and creative writing piece describing their monster and what it likes to do!
"Sugar and pumpkin spice and all things nice" would be fitting to describe these little pre-k pumpkins!
