Clay City classes are still collecting donations for Shriners Hospital! Remember, the class who raises the most will be rewarded with a pizza party!


Third through fifth grade students were able to see K9 units in action on Tuesday, April 22. SRO Phillips invited his K9 friends from Clay County and Richland County Sheriff Offices to come and demonstrate how police K9s work. The students were intrigued and excited as they guessed what the dog would find and how it all worked. Thank you to SRO Phillips, Clay County Sheriff Office, and Richland County Sheriff Office for this demonstration.







Mrs. Kuenstler's fifth graders recently completed their recyclables project to celebrate Earth Day! Their projects are on display in the library for viewing.

Clay City High School's prom will be held this Saturday. CCHS's candidates are as follows: King Candidates - Elliot Kessler and Keegan Sullens and Queen Candidates - Mariah Gibbons, Kendra Hostettler, Beth Norton, and Katelyn Workman. The Junior Attendants are: Molly Lindeman, Johnnie Mooney, Cayden Craig, and Kamden Bruner. CCHS's Prom, "A Night at The Oscars", will be held on Saturday, April 26 at White Oak Events in Noble. Walk-in will begin at 6:00pm. Introductions will be at 6:30pm with coronation immediately after.


2024-2025 yearbook order forms will be going home this week. Please return payment and form as soon as possible. Elementary yearbooks (pre-k through 5th) will be $20 and JH/HS yearbooks (6th through 12th) will be $40. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ahlfield or Mrs. Goodrum.


CCJH Cheer Clinic will be held on Tuesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 24 from 3:15-5:00pm. Wednesday's clinic has been canceled due to a recently scheduled track meet.


April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and students in the Human Growth & Development class stand together to raise awareness. Pictures with our beautiful butterfly display, we’re reminding everyone that Every Child Matters and There’s No Excuse For Child Abuse! #HopeTakesFlight






Superintendent Mr. Neubaum thought he would wear a shirt today that shows just how much he appreciates his faculty and staff here at Clay City CUSD 10!


Miss Fender's first graders had a great Easter party to kickoff Easter break!





Clay City Elementary students kindergarten through second grade had an Easter egg hunt today! What a great way to kick off Easter break!









Graduation and promotion season is quickly approaching. This means the school is in need of some information as we celebrate our students.
Eighth grade students: 1 infant/baby picture, 1 toddler picture, 1 grade school picture, 1 current picture
Senior students: 1 infant/toddler picture, 1 elementary picture, 1 junior high picture, 1 current picture
Eighth grade, please email the pictures to Sami or Mrs. Goodrum. Or stop by the library to drop them off with Mrs. Goodrum.
Seniors, please add your pictures to the Senior Slideshow available to you through Google Drive.

Intro to FCS students cooked up some creativity last week as they designed their very own food trucks! From clever names and mouthwatering menus to eye-catching truck designs, these future entrepreneurs brought bold flavors and big ideas to life! #FoodTruckChallenge

There's still time!!
Clay City Schools pre-k through 8th grade students will be collecting change/bills for Flora's Masonic Lodge #204 during the month of April. Funds raised will go to Shriners Hospital in St. Louis. The class that collects the most will receive a pizza party! So, clean out those couch cushions, do some chores, and donate to a really great cause!


Fourth grade teacher Mrs. French surprised her class with an Easter egg hunt. Those that found the golden and silver eggs were awarded special homework passes. Korbyn Thomas and Brayden Schendel were the lucky winners!


Miss Fender's first graders had an egg decorating contest. They made some pretty impressive eggs!
