
Fourth grade teacher Mrs. French surprised her class with an Easter egg hunt. Those that found the golden and silver eggs were awarded special homework passes. Korbyn Thomas and Brayden Schendel were the lucky winners!


Miss Fender's first graders had an egg decorating contest. They made some pretty impressive eggs!



Clay City CUSD 10's regularly scheduled April board meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 24 at 6pm in the school library.

Miss Fender's first graders had a sink or float science experiment with different kinds of candy. Students talked about the procedure and the materials needed. Everyone made predictions and tested them to see if they were correct. They finished our experiment by enjoying some candy. Great job first grade!

Mrs. Klein's second graders are gearing up for Earth Day by creating a project from recycled materials! Students focused on displaying how materials from home can easily be used to reduce, reuse and recycle! Their projects are on display in the library. ♻️

Tonight is CCJH's semi-formal dance. Students grades 6-8 are asked to please enter through the main high school doors. The dance will be held in the CCHS Gym from 6:30-9pm.


Mrs. Ahlfield's third graders celebrated a great testing week!


Mrs. Kuenstler's fifth graders enjoyed some ice cream from The Scoop and the Stockwell family. They enjoyed every minute of it; this was a reward that they earned for doing and trying their very best this week during our state testing. Great job fifth grade!



Today's (4/10) track meet at Cisne has been cancelled due to inclement weather. There will be no practice either.
