Don't forget today is OCC Dual Credit Orientation 1PM at the OCC. If you need to order course material for your dual credit course, follow these directions.
How to order your course materials or access code through the online bookstore:
Visit occbookstore.iecc.edu
Under the “Textbooks” tab, select the “ORDER TEXTBOOKS” option
Check that your selected term is correct - (Aug-Dec = FALL / Jan-May = SPRING)
Enter the appropriate 5-digit, CRN/Unique ID found on your Schedule in your ENTRATA account
Click the small blue arrow next to the CRN/Unique ID
Repeat for additional courses if necessary
Click the larger blue arrow titled “View Your Materials”
On the “Course Materials” page it may provide you with options: new, used, textbook with or without code, etc…
Add desired material to cart for each class by clicking “Add to Cart”
Click on “Continue Checkout”
Confirm your selections to make sure that your order is complete & correct
Click on “Continue Checkout”
The system will ask questions – pick your answers & click “Continue”
- If used/new is unavailable – then used/new is ok?
- If materials have changed, how would you like us to continue with your order?
- Substitution condition?
Click on “Payment Options”
Create an account or continue as guest
Select how you would like to receive your order: Ship or In-Store Pickup (Use the comment section to indicate if someone other than you will be picking up your order)
Pick your payment method & click on “Submit Payment”
Note: Codes must be purchased “new”. Textbooks may be purchased “used” if available. You are welcome to purchase from a vendor outside of IECC using the ISBN number.

Dear Parents,
I know you are eager to know your child's schedule. Please know that I have been speaking to multiple platforms for our curriculum to ensure a seamless transition. Dual Credit parent contacts for Juniors and Seniors are my priority and I've had more than one conversation with Olney about some additional classes that are available to our students but might not have been offered. We have exciting possibilities ahead of us. I have spoken to a few of you already. I will point you to the following resources that outline the dual credit policies and procedures from IECC's standpoint. Clay City has additional measures in place. Please be patient as this takes time to establish these safety protocols before moving forward.
Orientation is coming up August 1. I plan to be there to meet students. Parents should plan to attend if possible. Your dual credit student should have received an invitation. Tuesday, August 1st, from 1-3pm, We will start in the theater at 1p and then take a tour of our main building and hopefully our CTE buildings as well.
I'm excited to explore this opportunity for our students, families, and community.
