Check out yesterday's SAT question of the day. Challenge your teen to see who knows the most. Make it a fun family activity. Divide up into teams. Prep daily in small, bite-size pieces. Your teen has apps available to work the problems I'm sure. Have them show you how those work. Your mind will be blown. Then have them explain the process to you as review. "When we do we learn, when we teach, we understand." If they can't teach you how to solve the problem, then "we" (the school and parent team) know they don't truly understand the concept. Getting the answers is easy these days with apps and artificial intelligence. "We" need them to understand the process. Reminder: July 26 is registration. Get those physicals!

I have had many parents and community members ask me what they might be qualified to teach. Please see this page, and run through the WIZARD. Email ccroy@claycityschools.org if you would like us to consider you for a position for which you are not currently licensed but do qualify for under state guidelines. If you hold a social work degree for instance, there is a button for you to push specifically to see what jobs you are qualified for within the school setting. https://www.isbe.net/Pages/career-changers.aspx
