3/19 Letter from Superintendent

Dear School Community,

I want to inform you that the Clay City Fire Protection District is on-site responding to a field fire that spread to an area near the school.

At approximately 2:20 p.m., the fire department responded to a call about a field fire approaching the school's eastern boundary. Firefighters quickly assessed the situation and began containment efforts. At no time were students or school buildings in danger. The fire is now contained and is being extinguished.

Staff and students have been informed about the fire and the fire department’s presence on school grounds.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will make any necessary adjustments based on weather conditions.

The safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority.

Sincerely,

John Neubaum, Superintendent

Clay City CUSD #10
