Most Students/families have concerns about how they are going to pay for college. At Clay City, there are several local scholarships that have been established to help students/families with the cost of college. Information and requirements are better explained. When a student becomes a freshman, and enters high school, everything starts to “count.” High school grades are used for determining GPA (Grade Point Averages), activities, honors and awards which are all included in scholarship applications. It is a good idea to begin a file with all of the activities and awards the student has earned and update it once a year. This will be helpful when completing scholarship applications.

The scholarships that are listed reflect those that were given during the 2017-2018 school year. There is no guarantee these scholarships will be offered for the upcoming year.

Please contact the high school guidance office for more up-to-date information on the availability of scholarships.
